# ODOMETER_SOURCE_CONFLICT

> 409 — the odometer comes from the CAN bus and cannot be set manually.

**HTTP status:** `409` · **Code:** `ODOMETER_SOURCE_CONFLICT`

## Cause

[`PUT /v2/api/vehicles/{id}/odometer`](/v2/api-reference/put-vehicles-id-odometer) was called for a vehicle whose odometer is read from the CAN bus.

## What to do

Do not retry unchanged. Check the vehicle's source with [`GET /v2/api/vehicles/{id}/odometer`](/v2/api-reference/get-vehicles-id-odometer); to set the odometer manually the source must be GPS.
