# INTERNAL_ERROR

> 500 — an unhandled exception occurred on the server.

**HTTP status:** `500` · **Code:** `INTERNAL_ERROR`

## Cause

An unhandled exception occurred while the request was being processed. Note the `type` is `SERVER`, not `SERVER_ERROR`.

## What to do

Retry after a short delay. If the error persists, contact [Telemax support](https://telemax.com.au/contact/) and include the `requestId`.
